DHL CARPATHIAN MARATHON 2022

Thank you for your interest in joining the 11th edition of the DHL Carpathian Marathon, a truly unique and challenging mountain running race that offers registration in both INDIVIDUAL and RELAY format. 1. Conditions for registration

The DHL Carpathian Marathon is an event open to both experienced and amateur runners. The minimum age for registration in the available races is: Relay - 14 years, Half marathon - 16 years, Marathon - 19 years old. The races for children are open to all participants aged between 5 and 13 years.

2. Registration of participants under 18 years of age

DHL Carpathian Marathon encourages young people to practice as much sport as possible and thus develop harmoniously. That is why the registration of children and young people under 18 is free (limited to 300 entries)! They can participate either in the Half Marathon, in the Relay, or in the races dedicated to children between 5 and 13 years old. Please make sure that you read, understand and agree to the official race documents in relation to your entry and participation. Entering the race carries your inherent consent of the race rules, terms & conditions and the refund & cancellation policy described in the Rule Book and in the sections found below. Entry policies

Transfer to a different event

All transfer solicitations must take place before the 1st of June 2022 and be submitted through the official Contact page. Please be aware that acceptance of your request will be denied if the event your are soliciting to transfer to is sold out. Additional fees may apply in order for the transfer request to be processed. As a result of the transfer, any personalised items part of the race pack, such as the race number, will be lost & replaced by non-personalised items.

Transfer entry to a different runner

All transfer solicitations must take place before the 1st of June 2022 and be submitted through the official Contact page. If the request is validated, a non-refundable 50 lei / 10 Euro fee must be paid no later than the 4th of June 2022 for the transfer procedure to take place. As a result of the transfer, any personalised items part of the race pack, such as the race number, will be lost and the receiving participant will obtain only non-personalised items.

Entry cancellation

Cancellation is possible under strict terms. All solicitations must be sent no longer than the 10th of May 2022 through the official Contact page. Cancellation requests received after the aforementioned date will be denied. If a cancellation is validated, a 50% refund is applied to the participation fee.

Please note that entries paid for the 2022 edition of DHL Carpathian Marathon cannot be transferred for the 2023 edition of the event.

If the organisers cancel an entry or disqualify a participant as a result of race rules being breached, no refund will be payable. By entering the race, all participants adhere that in the case of an “Act of God” that forces the organisers to cancel the event, entry fees will not be refunded.
